In this policy, "GrandJob", "we", "us" and "our" mean B2B Geek Limited.

We're the data controller for the personal information described here, which means we decide how and why it's used. This policy applies to everyone who visits grandjob.io or uses GrandJob. If you have any questions, email us at [privacy email to be added].

• Account details: your email address, your name if you add it or sign in with Google, and your password, which is stored securely in a form no one at GrandJob can read.
• Your career profile: your target role, field, seniority, experience, locations, work preferences, salary goals and ambitions.
• Your CVs and documents: CVs you create, import or tailor, cover letters, and the files you upload to import a CV or LinkedIn profile.
• Your job search: roles you save, their stages and dates, contacts you add, notes, interview preparation, follow-up drafts and match analyses.
• Goals and companies: your goals and milestones, the companies you research, and your private notes and ratings.
• Imported profile information: if you import your LinkedIn profile, the public profile details it contains, from the link you give us or the PDF you upload.
• Activity and usage: a record of the AI and search features you use, when you were last active, and your account status.
• Technical information: your IP address and browser details, which our providers receive when your browser connects to GrandJob.
• Visit analytics, only with your consent: the pages you visit, how you found us and how long you stay, along with your device type, browser and approximate location.
• Support requests and messages: bug reports, feature ideas, feedback and questions you send us, screenshots you attach, our replies, and, with bug reports, the page you were on and your browser, device, window size and time zone.

Please don't add sensitive information to your CV or notes, such as health details, religious beliefs, or ID or bank numbers, unless you're comfortable with it being processed to provide GrandJob. Whatever you add, we only use it to provide the features you ask for.

Data protection law requires a legal basis for each way we use your information. Here's ours:

We never sell your personal information, use it for advertising, or share it with employers or recruiters.

GrandJob's AI features help you import and review CVs, tailor applications, write cover letters, prepare for interviews, research companies and plan goals.

• When you use an AI feature, we send the information it needs, such as your CV, career profile or the job description, to an AI provider to create the result. Company research also searches the public web.
• Nothing is sent to an AI provider until you start an AI feature.
• GrandJob doesn't use your data to train AI models.
• AI results are suggestions. Match scores and reviews help you decide. They don't make decisions about you, and employers never see them.

We don't make decisions about you based only on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.

We only share personal information with providers who help us run GrandJob, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions.

A small number of authorised GrandJob team members can access accounts when it's needed to give support, keep GrandJob safe or meet legal obligations, and every change they make to an account is logged.

We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect the safety and rights of our members or others, or as part of a sale or reorganisation of our business. If that happens, we'll let you know.

Some of our providers process information outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. When they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Google, which provides Google Analytics, is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Contact us if you'd like more detail.

We may keep information for longer when the law requires it.

Under data protection law (GDPR), you have the right to:

• access the information we hold about you;
• correct anything that's inaccurate;
• delete your information;
• take it with you in a portable format;
• restrict or object to how we use it, including where we rely on legitimate interests;
• withdraw your consent at any time, for example to analytics cookies.

You can do most of this yourself. Edit anything in your workspace, and download everything or delete your account from Privacy & data. For anything else, email us at [privacy email to be added]. We'll reply within one month, and we may need to confirm it's you first.

You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission, Ireland's data protection authority, at dataprotection.ie. We'd appreciate the chance to help first.

We use a few essential cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your choices. With your consent, we also use analytics cookies, including Google Analytics, to measure visits. You can accept or reject optional cookies when you first visit, and change your mind at any time. Your data travels over encrypted connections and is stored with our platform provider using industry-standard security. Your workspace is private to your account, uploaded files are kept in private storage with no public link, and our team's access is limited to the people who need it.

No online service can be completely secure. If a breach affects your information, we'll tell you, and the authorities, when the law requires it.

GrandJob is for people aged 16 and over. If we learn that someone under 16 has created an account, we'll delete it.

We'll update this policy as GrandJob changes. If we make important changes, we'll let you know in GrandJob before they take effect. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
